Designed as the official kit for Sierra Leone at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, each piece is inspired by the stories of the nation's athletes and features LABRUM's reimagined cowrie shell - a symbol of prosperity, heritage and resilience. Created in collaboration with adidas, the collection honours Sierra Leone's past while looking confidently towards its future.
The LABRUM monogram is a modern interpretation of the cowrie shell, a historic symbol of wealth, protection and exchange across West Africa.
Abstracted into a refined visual code, it becomes a subtle signature across our garments, connecting heritage with contemporary design. More than an emblem, it reflects our belief that culture is our greatest currency, carried through every detail, every piece, every story.

LABRUM is committed to responsible best practices and operates on a lean manufacturing basis to minimise unnecessary inventory build-up and wastage of material. We use data prediction and analysis to pre-order and manufacture our products and, in certain circumstances, this may lead to a short delay in you receiving the product you have ordered. If this is the case, we will notify you in writing.
Where possible LABRUM will choose to upcycle any excess inventory or materials for its next collection.
