STUDIO ASSISTANT & SOCIAL MEDIA WORK PLACEMENT

Join LABRUM London, an African British Heritage fashion brand whose purpose is to tell the untold stories of West Africa and to help bridge the gap between Western society and African cultures. 

We are currently offering a Studio Assistant & Social Media work experience placement to join the team at our 180 Strand studio. The position is for a duration of 3-6 months with the potential of an extension. This is an expenses-only work placement. Travel and food expenses will be covered.

Key Responsibilities: 

• MAIN : Day-to-day studio support across all areas - including stock movement, packing, logistics, and general operations
• Assisting with administrative tasks to ensure smooth studio functioning
• Assisting across production, e-commerce, and team needs as they arise
• Support with creating graphics, image & video content for all social media channels
• Assist in crafting and communicating LABRUM's brand identity across social media channels
• Assist in social media planning and content calendar development
• Support in organizing content and scheduling posts
• Research trends, audience engagement, and competitor strategies to keep the brand relevant and innovative

Requirements: 

• A proactive, hands-on attitude and willingness to support wherever needed
• Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in content creation
• TikTok enthusiast with an understanding of viral trends and platform dynamics
• Copywriting skills
• A proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong work ethic, integrity and reliability with a hands-on attitude

• Available to work 2 - 3 days, 9 am-6 pm (some evenings may be required as we come closer to the fashion week)
