Join Labrum London, an African British Heritage fashion brand whose purpose is to tell the untold story of West Africa and to help bridge the gap between Western and African cultures. 


We are currently looking for a London based Social Media Manager.

Your overall purpose as a social media manager will be to lead Labrum's social media strategy to boost visibility and customer and client engagement. This typically involves managing our online presence by developing a strategy, producing good content, analysing usage data, facilitating customer service and managing projects and campaigns. The role may be combined with other marketing and communications responsibilities. 


  • Develop a social media strategy and set goals to increase brand awareness and increase engagement.

  • Manage all social media channels such as Instagram, Twitter and our newsletter.

  • Develop and manage competitions and campaigns.

  • Write engaging blog posts and articles.

  • Create engaging multimedia content and/or outsource this effectively.

  • Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms.

  • Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions.

  • Monitor and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics.

  • Educate other staff on the use of social media

  • Regularly liaise with clients via telephone, email, or conference calls.

Person Specification

  • Good communicator both written and oral.

  • Must be computer literate and great with social media.

  • Passionate, enthusiastic and a great team player who is happy to help in other areas of the business.
